Michelle L. K. Olevano

Michelle L. K. Olevano is a member of the Estate Planning, Trusts, and Estate Administration practice group. Her practice focuses on estate planning matters, including special needs planning. Michelle’s practice also includes guardianship proceedings and long-term care planning. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University in 2005, and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2011. Michelle was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2012. While in law school, she served as President of the Women’s Law Caucus and was a member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates.
Although Michelle is not native to the Syracuse area, she has developed a deep appreciation for the community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Jowonio School, a preschool widely recognized for its commitment to inclusive education, and as a member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners, a national organization of professionals dedicated to the practice of special needs planning. Michelle draws on her professional experience and community involvement to help clients achieve their individualized goals and peace of mind.
